Biography

Derrick Bachman focuses his practice in the areas of mineral title and energy law. He has experience in the review and analysis of all documents relating to mineral title ownership including deeds, leases, and easements. He also has experience in the preparation of certified mineral titles opinions, certified division order title opinions and the management of mineral title projects.

Experienced in preparing and reviewing complex mineral title opinions, division order title opinions, and the management of mineral title projects
Conducted curative review of oil and gas leases for exploration and production companies in the Appalachian Basin
Performed due diligence mineral title examinations for small and large-scale due diligence projects
Trained new attorneys in the preparation of mineral title opinions
Conducted oil, gas, coal, and mineral title examinations and abstracts in Pennsylvania
