Biography

Delainey Banks focuses her practice in the area of energy law and mineral law. With an eye for detail and a understanding of oil and gas law, she plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth transactions and addressing complex title issues. She currently serves on the North American Coalbed Methane Board (NACBM), where they contribute to the advancement of mine safety and work to increase production of coalbed methane as a worldwide energy resource. Her clients benefit from her persuasive skills and advocacy in her role as a team member focused on their success. Delainey’s drive to help her clients goes hand-in-hand with her drive to work and help in her community.

  • Reviewed and analyzed oil and gas property titles in Ohio and West Virginia to confirm ownership rights and identify any encumbrances or issues affecting the property for oil and gas industry clients
  • Drafted hundreds comprehensive title opinions outlining the legal status of oil and gas interests, including identifying any potential legal disputes or title defects
  • Provided legal support for transactions involving the acquisition, sale, or transfer of oil and gas properties in Ohio and West Virginia
  • Led discussions with interest to the advancement of mine safety in Pennsylvania and West Virginia and to increase production of coalbed methane as a worldwide energy resource
