Steptoe & Johnson Names New Managing Member for Morgantown Office

Morgantown, WV – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC has named J. Brooke Kamicker the Managing Member of the firm’s Morgantown office. In addition to maintaining her legal practice, Kamicker, as Managing Member, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the office and work to strengthen the firm’s presence in the local community.

Slaughter. “We are confident that she will maintain the high-level performance of the office and that she will carry on the strong community focus Brian Gallagher brought to the position. Kamicker is a member of the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Department, where she manages a team of attorneys on title projects and complex due diligence projects, building on her vast experience in mineral title. Brooke is just as passionate about Steptoe & Johnson’s local community involvement as she is about her work. She serves as chairperson of the Monongalia County Bar Association Scholarship Committee, is a member of the Steptoe & Johnson Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and represented the firm as a 2022 Fellow of the Legal Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).
