Andres Gonzalez Joins Steptoe & Johnson’s San Antonio Office

SAN ANTONIO – Andres R. Gonzalez has joined the San Antonio office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as a Member. He joins the firm’s Business Department and will focus his practice on construction law matters.

Gonzalez is an experienced litigator who works closely with construction clients to interpret and defend cases involving breach of contract clauses, construction defects, payment disputes, regulatory compliance, and permits. He also assists clients with drafting and negotiating various engineering, procurement, and construction agreements for major projects. At Steptoe & Johnson, Gonzalez will focus on growing the transactional side of his practice as he works closely with Rick Reed, another construction partner in the firm’s San Antonio office. In addition to construction matters, Gonzalez draws on his background as a former small business owner to defend clients in labor and employment-related disputes.

Gonzalez earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
