45th Annual West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival

 This year’s WV Italian Heritage Festival promises to carry on its tradition of being one of West Virginia’s most spectacular and colorful events. The festival offers a wide array of authentic Italian “street food”, complete with pastries, that one can eat on the go so that watching the entertainers and visiting the vendor booths can be done with ease. There is entertainment for the bambini as well, with a specially designated children’s area, with a stage and entertainment for the kiddos, as well as a safe carnival midway, with rides and games. Top-named entertainers can be found on the main stage during the Festival. In previous years, festival goers have enjoyed such notables as Tony Danza, Kathy Mattea, Jo Dee Messina, Steve Augeri, Joey Dee and the Starliters, and Frankie Avalon – all free of charge to the public.
