Tracey Eberling and Anders Lindberg Selected as 2024 West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellows

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to announce that Tracey B. Eberling and Anders W. Lindberg have been honored by the West Virginia Bar Foundation Board of Directors as 2024 Bar Foundation Fellows. The program recognizes lawyers and judges who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their communities and honorable service to the legal profession throughout the course of their careers.

Eberling practices in Steptoe & Johnson’s Martinsburg office and represents her clients in both labor and employment and litigation defense. She frequently works with boards of education, manufacturers, industry organizations, municipalities, and public safety officers. In addition to her practice, Eberling is involved with organizations including the Martinsburg-Beckley Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle, and the West Virginia Bar Association.

Lindberg practices in the firm’s Huntington office and serves as the chair of the Litigation Department. His over 20 years of experience involves extensive high-value, complex civil and commercial litigation. Lindberg has successfully represented large health systems and international manufacturers in employment litigation involving wrongful termination, alleged workplace discrimination, and harassment, successfully trying cases in both state and federal courts. Lindberg is a member of the Leadership West Virginia Class of 2013, is on the Board of Directors of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce, and actively supports organizations such as the Brady Steps Charitable Foundation.

Each year, Fellows are selected by the West Virginia Bar Foundation Board of Directors, comprised of statewide judges and lawyers with diverse legal backgrounds. More than 425 individuals have received this honor, which dates back to 1999. Steptoe & Johnson now has 27 lawyers, including Eberling and Lindberg, who have been selected as Fellows.

The West Virginia Bar Foundation serves as the philanthropic organization for the legal profession and justice system and has made more than $500,000 in grants to organizations that provide legal services to citizens across the state.
