Steptoe & Johnson Welcomes 10 New Associates to the Firm

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to announce its newest class of associate attorneys to the firm. The latest associates include Daniel Boothe, Grace George, Peter LeBlanc, Patrick McBride, Morgan Null, Kaitlyn Pantelis, Chase Riggs, Lacy Smith, Steven Treadway, and Sam Wilson.

Boothe focuses his practice in civil litigation in the Huntington, West Virginia office. He previously worked at a general counsel’s office for the National White Collar Crime Center. Boothe earned his law and bachelor’s degrees from West Virginia University.

George practices energy law with an emphasis in mineral and title property in the Wheeling, West Virginia office. She is a former summer associate at Steptoe & Johnson and is a member of the Ohio County Bar and West Virginia Bar Associations. She earned her law degree from Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from High Point University.

LeBlanc focuses his practice in the Louisville, Kentucky office, in corporate law with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, commercial real estate, entity formation, and general transactional matters for businesses. Prior to law school, LeBlanc worked in banking and risk management, serving clients in the United States and Europe. He earned his law degree from University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Providence College.

McBride practices energy and natural resources law in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma office. Prior to law school, he spent nearly two decades as a geologist for several onshore U.S. energy companies. McBride earned his law degree from University of Oklahoma College of Law, his master’s degrees from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and West Virginia University, and his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University.

Null focuses her practice in energy and natural resources transactions in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. She was a previous summer associate at Steptoe & Johnson, interned on Capitol Hill, and held a judicial internship for United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Null earned her law degree from Duquesne University Kline School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from George Washington University.

Pantelis practices business law in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. As a previous summer associate at Steptoe & Johnson, she has experience in corporate governance and transactional matters. Pantelis earned her law and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.

Riggs focuses his practice in labor and employment in the Bridgeport, West Virginia office. He was a previous summer associate at Steptoe & Johnson and was an editor of the West Virginia Law Review during law school Riggs earned his law and bachelor’s degrees from West Virginia University.

Smith focuses her practice on energy contracts and assists businesses with corporate matters in the Bridgeport, West Virginia office. Smith was a previous summer associate at Steptoe & Johnson. During law school, she worked at the WVU College of Law Child and Family Advocacy Clinic. She earned her law and bachelor’s degrees from West Virginia University.

Treadway practices law in wealth planning, tax, and higher education in the Morgantown, West Virginia office. He was a previous summer associate at Steptoe & Johnson and interned for the West Virginia University Office of General Counsel. Treadway earned his law, master’s, and bachelor’s degrees from West Virginia University.

Wilson focuses her practice on energy litigation in the Bridgeport, West Virginia office. She was a former summer associate at Steptoe & Johnson and was an editor for the West Virginia Law Review. Wilson earned her law and bachelor’s degrees from West Virginia University.
