Steptoe & Johnson Continues Growth in North Texas Market with Arrival of John Round and Brooks Caston

COLLIN COUNTY, Texas – John K. Round and Brooks L. Caston have joined Steptoe & Johnson PLLC in the firm’s Collin County office.

John joins as a Member and his practice focuses on tax and estate planning, representing individuals and businesses, including family limited partnerships, in estate planning, probate, and trust law. He is a frequent speaker at several national and Texas professional organizations and is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in estate planning and probate law. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. 

Brooks joins as Of Counsel and his practice focuses on helping individuals safeguard their legacies through the implementation of various estate planning and trust strategies as well as advising clients on all phases of the estate and trust administration processes. Brooks is active in various professional organizations in the North Texas area.

John earned his law degree from the St. Mary’s University School of Law, his LL.M. in tax from University of Florida, and his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. Brooks earned his law degree from Southern Methodist University and his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
