Michelle L. Weaver

Biography

Michelle uses an analytical and flexible approach to problem-solving as she helps clients navigate the complex legal issues in intellectual property. Her ability to formulate arguments and deliver sound advice on a wide range of issues makes her an asset to clients.

She is experienced in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical, electrical, financial, and software fields. In addition, she regularly counsels clients through trademark and copyright disputes, and drafts and prosecutes trademark applications.

Michelle’s advises clients in the financial arena, specifically regarding the patentability of inventions with a specific focus on overcoming potential 35 U.S.C. 101 rejections. Additionally, she has represented clients in multiple successful Petitions for Inter Partes Review and Re-examination proceedings.

Michelle is admitted to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
