Biography

Thomas (“Tommy”) Latino is the Higher Education Practice Manager at Steptoe & Johnson where he works to build and develop relationships with higher education institution decision makers and professional organizations. Tommy uses his unique background in the legal and higher education fields to establish and execute strategic marketing and business development opportunities for individual attorneys and the firm with colleges and universities.

He has served in diverse roles that give him distinct insight into building successful partnerships, implementing projects, and communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences. As the former Executive Director of the Professional Development Office at the University of Pittsburgh Law School, Tommy cross-collaborated with offices of academic success and student affairs to expand the school’s footprint in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. He has also worked with some of the nation’s largest financial and legal firms helping to place students with specific employers based on fit.

Tommy is the author of a number of industry publications and has been interviewed on topics including diversity and hiring within law firms.
