Steptoe & Johnson Welcomes Thomas Latino as Higher Education Practice Manager

PITTSBURGH – Steptoe & Johnson has named Thomas Latino its new Higher Education Practice Manager. Latino will work with the firm’s Higher Education Team and the Marketing and Business Development department.

Latino will use his unique background in the legal and higher education fields to build and develop relationships with higher education institution decision makers and professional organizations. He will help establish and execute strategic marketing and business development opportunities for individual attorneys and the firm with colleges and universities. In addition, Latino will assist with the management of the higher education practice, collaborating with attorneys and professional staff to grow the practice while ensuring exceptional client service.

Latino received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin School of Law, and his MBA from The College of William and Mary. He has experience as the Director of Talent Acquisition at a national law firm, served as the Executive Director at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Professional Development Office, and served as the Manager of Employer Development at Florida State University College of Law. He is the author of several publications regarding law firms and hiring and has been featured in a number of interviews on the topic.
