Nicholas Fiske and James Hankle Join Steptoe & Johnson’s Growing Pittsburgh Office

Pittsburgh, PA – Nicholas L. Fiske and James R. Hankle have joined the Pittsburgh office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC. Fiske joins the firm’s Litigation Department as Of Counsel and will focus his practice in the areas of general civil, commercial, and construction litigation matters. Hankle also joins the firm’s Litigation Department as Of Counsel and will focus his practice in the areas of general civil and commercial litigation, criminal law, and privacy and cyber security law.

Fiske has extensive experience guiding clients through complex breach of contract actions, real estate disputes, employment litigation, and general liability matters. He also represents shareholder clients, including company founders and minority owners, in complicated disputes involving claims of minority oppression, breaches of fiduciary duties, and securities violations. Fiske earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo.

Hankle represents clients in complex litigation before federal and state courts, federal and state agencies, and international commercial arbitration panels. He regularly assists national companies and local corporations in the defense of commercial transaction claims, intellectual property claims, mass toxic tort claims, and product liability claims. He is also regularly called upon to handle corporate white-collar crime. Hankle earned his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall Law School and his bachelor’s degree from Slippery Rock University.
