Alexys has always believed the answers to legal issues are not one size fits all. As a result, Alexys rounded her education with not only legal studies, but understanding the businesses behind the transactions as well. At the University of Kentucky, Alexys obtained an undergraduate degree in Management and a minor in Chinese (language, culture, and history). During her summers, Alexys spent time interning with private equity firms, as well as an internship in the Kentucky Governor’s Office legislative department. She then continued her studies to the University of Kentucky’s J. David Rosenberg College of Law where she completed her Juris Doctorate. During law school, Alexys was the only second-year law student to earn a position on the Trial Advocacy Team where she represented the University of Kentucky at the regional competition. It was her time on the trial team that ignited her passion for litigation.
Alexys primarily works in a wide range of litigation areas including commercial, energy, as well as general litigation matters. Alexys’s unique background enables her to provide clients a more holistic perspective to any transaction.
