Catherine Pieratt

Biography

Catherine advises clients in a wide variety of industries, including health care, real estate, and manufacturing, through corporate matters and complex mergers and acquisitions. She excels at supporting clients’ business interests by handling organizational and governance documentation, due diligence, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and the drafting and negotiation of transactional documents, including purchase agreements, bills of sale, service agreements, and escrow agreements.

In the health care space, Catherine is experienced in drafting and reviewing documents like physician employment and medical director agreements and advises clients on state and federal health care regulations and facility licensing. She also prepares government filings, including blue sky and Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, to ensure clients meet their compliance and regulatory requirements.

Outside of work, Catherine enjoys swimming, travelling, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Dallas Stars.

  • Represented a private equity company in connection with the acquisition of a foundation repair equipment manufacturer and affiliated entities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
