Earl Martin represents small businesses, individuals, nonprofit associations, and large corporations in litigation and transactional matters.
He assists clients in connection with day-to-day contractual and governance matters and has helped shepherd numerous clients through the full business life cycle, from corporate formation through succession planning and business and asset sales. In addition, clients rely on Earl to handle the full range of personal and corporate transactional needs, including estate planning and administration, tax law, general corporate, government contracting, and intellectual property.
As a member of the products liability litigation practice group, Earl utilizes his extensive appellate experience on a wide range of legal issues to brief arguments at both the trial and appellate court levels, with a particular emphasis on defending railroads and government entities, including municipalities.
Earl is admitted to practice before the Kentucky Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court.
