Jared L. Downs

Biography

Jared is an experienced trial attorney. He represents clients throughout all phases of complex litigation from trial through appeal, in state and federal courts, before arbitration panels, and at state and military administrative hearings. Most often, Jared defends claims alleging personal injuries and property damage due to negligence, products liability, construction defects, and bad faith. He is a former felony narcotics prosecutor, veteran of the Global War on Terror, and current member of the Kentucky Army National Guard’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps.

  •  Won defense verdict for a national insurance carrier in a multimillion-dollar breach of contract lawsuit
  • Won defense verdict at a trial in a lawsuit arising from a rear-end car accident
  • Won summary judgment for a national insurance carrier in a lawsuit for statutory damages, and affirmed at the Kentucky Court of Appeals
