Her career began as a family law practitioner, where she navigated intricate and often emotional family legal matters. Kathleen leverages her attention to detail when preparing title opinions and validating the legal, financial, and technical aspects related to acquiring or developing mineral rights.

  • Performed oil and gas title examinations for properties within West Virginia
  • Analyzed well production data throughout West Virginia for title purposes and due diligence projects
  • Drafted numerous title opinions setting forth the legal status of oil and gas interest, while highlighting potential legal disputes or title defects in order to assist clients in acquiring desired property rights within West Virginia
  • Participated in a title and due diligence project for natural gas well operations in Ohio and Pennsylvania in a transaction worth over $2.5 billion
