Biography

Ted advises lenders, borrowers, purchasers, and sellers on all aspects of commercial real estate including corporate lending and real estate financing, leases, infrastructure development and land planning, and title work. In addition, clients look to him for general corporate and merger and acquisition counsel, and to form and strategically structure their business entities.

He is a creative thinker and appreciates collaboration. He enjoys working with clients on a mutual goal such as closing a real estate deal, where everyone can benefit.

Representative Experience

Represented several banks in acquisition and construction loans ranging from $1,000,000 – $75,000,000
Acted as outside general counsel to several Texas Counties in the distribution of nearly $750,000,000 in relief funds stemming from multiple Coronavirus Relief Acts
Represented a North Texas County in its distribution of $150,000,000 of Coronavirus Relief Funds
Represented a purchaser in the $8,400,000 acquisition of a shopping center
Represented a developer in the acquisition of vacant lots, which included construction financing of $13,000,000
Represented borrower in a $3,000,000 loan for a sustainable energy company
Formed and strategically structured business entities, including not for profit corporations and limited liability companies
