Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and other critical minerals are now a part of the popular energy transition lexicon in the United States. They are vitally important in many applications such as electric vehicles, wind turbines, smartphones and defense technologies.

The new focus on national security, infrastructure, energy independence, and advanced technologies has engendered new and renewed interest in mining, development, processing, and commercial distribution of REEs. Efforts have been launched to develop a domestic supply.

We’ll explore the nature of REEs and the challenges, both legal and economic, in identifying and developing domestic sources of REEs and other critical minerals.

Rare Earth Elements and Critical Minerals: The Future is Now is the fifth session in the Alternative & Renewable Energy Webinar Series.

Continuing Education Credits for AAPL, NADOA, and NALTA are pending, however they are expected to be approved.
