Lyle Brown is a Member in Steptoe & Johnson’s office in Columbus, Ohio.  He focuses his energy and business litigation practice on protecting his clients’ interests.  He works with large oil and gas producers to protect their assets located throughout eastern Ohio, in a variety of litigation matters such as: mineral title and landowner lease disputes in Ohio state and federal courts; proceedings before state appellate courts and the Supreme Court of Ohio; foreclosure litigation involving lessors' residential and commercial mortgages and delinquent property taxes; and bankruptcies filed by lessors.  In addition to his work for the firm’s energy clients, Lyle represents business entities in litigation matters.  He also has experience in administrative agency litigation and appeals, long-term care litigation, and probate litigation.
