Marsha Hudkins pursued a law career after spending several years hiring lawyers in her management capacity at a non-profit organization. The qualities she admired in those lawyers were competence, diligence, and professionalism. Marsha strives to achieve those ideals to help energy clients in the Appalachian Basin grow their business, drill wells, and mitigate litigation challenges that arise from title disputes, particularly in the area of West Virginia mineral severances and tax deeds.  Since the energy boom in the early 2000’s, Marsha has drafted thousands of surface, coal, oil and gas title opinions. She enjoys putting together the puzzle pieces of mineral ownership and leasehold rights to provide energy companies critical information for current operations and future investment.
