Firm continues expansion of Kentucky litigation practice
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to announce that Andrew R. Smith has joined the firm’s Business Litigation Team in its Lexington office.
Smith joins Steptoe & Johnson from Miller Edwards Rambicure PLLC where he represented clients in the energy, finance, construction, development, equine, and nonprofit sectors. He has defended clients involved in litigation for breach of contract and fiduciary duties, Mine Safety and Health Act violations, False Claims Act violations, and stock asset sales.
As a law student, Smith was a summer associate for Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs LLP and a law clerk for the Honorable Vanessa Dickinson, Chief Justice for the 14th Judicial District of Kentucky.
Smith earned his law degree, Order of the Coif, from Wake Forest University School of Law where he was a member of the editorial staff for the Wake Forest Law Review and the Wake Forest Moot Court Board. He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Transylvania University.
