Continuing Growth in Dallas, Steptoe & Johnson Welcomes Cash Nickerson

DALLAS – Cash Nickerson has joined Steptoe & Johnson’s Dallas office as Of Counsel in the firm’s Business Department. Nickerson is the seventh attorney to join the Dallas office this year. Since opening offices in downtown Dallas and Collin County in 2021, the firm now has more than 30 attorneys in the DFW region.

Nickerson brings a wide variety of legal, business, and academic experience to his work in mergers and acquisitions and corporate matters across multiple industries. His unique background provides tailored corporate support to a variety of clients.

An accomplished author and speaker, Nickerson has published eight books, including the Wall Street Journal best seller Negotiation as a Martial Art. Nickerson serves as a Distinguished Teaching Professor at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and has served on the school’s Board of Trustees since 2014. Among other philanthropic endeavors, Nickerson is the founder and President of the David H. Nickerson Foundation, which supports prostate cancer research.

Nickerson earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, and his B.A. from Carleton College. He is currently pursuing his J.S.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. Nickerson is licensed in Arizona, California, Illinois, Nebraska, Nevada, and Texas.
