WHEELING, W.Va. – Delainey D. Banks has joined Steptoe & Johnson PLLC as an Associate in the firm’s Wheeling office. She will practice mineral title and property law in the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Department.
Banks returns to Steptoe & Johnson after spending time with the firm as a summer associate in 2021 and 2020. Banks received valuable experience during her time as a summer associate with the firm but also as an extern for the Lucas County Child Services Ombudsman and as an intern for Bellaire Northern and Eastern County Courts. She has drafted legal memorandums, pleadings, and settlement documents; filed petitions; participated in discovery; and researched and analyzed legal issues.
She earned her law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, where she served as vice president for the Environmental Law Society. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University.
