MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Shaina L. Richardson has joined Steptoe & Johnson as an associate attorney. Richardson previously practiced with Steptoe & Johnson prior to accepting a clerkship with Chief Judge D. Brooks Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She returns to the firm to practice energy and commercial litigation in its Morgantown office. She will also assist with the firm’s Appellate Team.
Richardson was also a law clerk for Judge Robert B. King, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and Judge Irene M. Keeley, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.
Richardson earned her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law where she was an executive research editor of the West Virginia Law Review. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
