PITTSBURGH, PA. – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC has further expanded its service capabilities with the creation of an interdisciplinary Life Sciences Team.  Steptoe & Johnson’s Life Sciences Team currently represents clients in multiple industries, including food, dietary supplements, sports nutrition, and hemp-derived cannabinoids, including cannabidiol (CBD).

The Life Sciences Team routinely assists clients in bringing products to market, proactively navigates federal and state regulatory hurdles, and actively negotiates client transactions with a deep bench of practical experience.

The Life Sciences Team is represented by several firm attorneys who have extensive in-house experience at national and international life sciences manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.  The Team specializes in the areas that established businesses and entrepreneurs need most when a great idea becomes a reality.  These areas include regulatory compliance, intellectual property concerns, corporate transactions, licensing and agreements, litigation, business torts, eCommerce, and many others.
