PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC will present its “Meeting Today’s Challenges in Higher Education” seminar on Thursday, May 24, at the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburgh. The one day event brings together professionals from the areas of law, higher education, finance, communications, and campus security to discuss solutions to pressing issues facing colleges and universities. Allegheny College president James H. Mullen Jr. will give the closing keynote address.
The event includes panel discussions of the financial implications for higher education, accommodating individuals with mental health concerns, as well as campus investigations and the #MeToo movement. The opening keynote will be given by Jim Newberry, leader of Steptoe & Johnson’s Higher Education Team.
