Steptoe & Johnson Welcomes Seasoned Litigator Randal Whitlatch to Pittsburgh Office

PITTSBURGH – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is pleased to announce that Randal (Randy) M. Whitlatch joined its Pittsburgh office as a Member.

As a seasoned litigator, Whitlatch brings nearly 20 years of experience assisting manufacturers and businesses across diverse industries in navigating complex legal disputes in state and federal courts. He works closely with tier 1 and tier 2 automotive and mobility component parts manufacturers across industry sectors including energy, life sciences, chemicals, robotics, health care, and technology. He has a wealth of complex commercial and products liability litigation experience and has served as first chair litigation counsel in a variety of complex cases and has managed teams of other counsel both domestically and internationally.

Whitlatch has developed a proficiency in the laws impacting global supply chains which helps him assist companies to holistically manage the legal aspects of their supply chains by providing counsel and advice on issues arising under the UCC and CISG, on matters pertaining to ESG, and on matters of cybersecurity, antitrust, FCPA, and securities law all as they present themselves in the supply chain environment.

Whitlatch received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
