Steptoe & Johnson PLLC is proud to announce that Hampton Rose, a Member in the Charleston office and Laurie Conway, the firm’s Marketing Manager in the Wheeling office have been selected to West Virginia’s State Journal’s Generation Next: 40 Under 40 Class of 2024.
Rose leads the firm’s Real Estate Team and is a licensed title insurance agent in West Virginia. He represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in commercial transactions and related financing, often involving mineral and real property assets. He works on commercial and energy transactions of all sizes, helping clients negotiate deal terms, draft transaction documents, manage due diligence, and insure title of collateral. Rose has been recognized by the Best Lawyers in America® in Energy Law, Natural Resources Law, and Oil and Gas Law.
Conway supports the firm’s marketing efforts across the country and enjoys building strong relationships with those she works with and in her community. She serves as a board member at Wheeling Health Right, The Ohio County Family Resource Network, and The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. She often volunteers her time for The Alzheimer’s Association, The American Heart Association, The Augusta Levy Learning Center, The United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, and the Marshall County Animal Shelter.
